Florabella is a celebration of glorious floral arrangements and bold colour palettes. The Florabella collection is rich with Mediterranean blues and jungle greens with contrasts of vivid reds, bright fuchsias, lemon yellows, citrus orange, blush pinks, and sleek black and white stripes.
Taking inspiration from painterly floral works by artists such as Henri Matisse, Vincent Van Gogh, Margaret Olley and Ken Done, Jodie’s large scale floral artworks appear abstract and contemporary with a traditional twist. In each painting the kaleidoscopic colour relationship is carefully thought out and compositionally the flowers protrude off the canvas to honour their aesthetic beauty and form.
